Professional Arborist and Tree Surgeon providing environmental tree care & woodland management services locally.
Rob Steed Tree Care Terms & Conditions Of Contract
€6.5 million Public Liability Insurance and €13 Employers Liability Insurances cover all works.
We undertake to carry out all specified works in an orderly and competent manner and carried out to British Standard 3998.
At your request, all tree work is inspected, a recommendation and a written estimate/quotation to carry out proposed tree work is supplied to you at this stage. Upon approval, a deposit of 40% of the quoted price is required, and the balance paid to Rob Steed Tree Care upon completion. Depending on the length of the tree work contract, interval payments may be requested. All estimates are valid up to three months from date shown and any alterations should be made in writing.
Note, any change to the site conditions from the initial survey/inspection may present a breach of the contract and will invalidate the estimate. However, should you wish the works to continue the prices may or could be subject to change. Any changes will be agreed prior to the commencement of the works.
If we request special access or parking facilities as part of our quotation, then failure of this may result in additional charges or an abortive visit fee.
We cannot take responsibility for the eventuality of finding hidden foreign bodies or obstructions in the centre of a tree (such as iron or steel). However, we will endeavour to overcome any problems of this nature as efficiently as possible.
Where stump grinding is specified, it is carried out to a depth of 6 to 9 inches below ground level. There is no chasing of lateral roots unless specified and subsequent debris from stump grinding are left on site unless otherwise specified.
Any conservation or preservation order relative to trees specified in the estimate will be dealt with by us upon receipt of the acceptance form enclosed.
VAT is chargeable at the current rate of 13.5%.
Normally, a deposit of 40% is received prior to works commencing and the balance upon completion. For larger projects interval payments are invoiced.
